Adcomm/Celerity MDU Services is the exclusive provider for DirecTV at the Village at Towne Center as part of a Bulk HOA Contract.
Each Unit is equipped with:
The DirecTV service is included in condo owner's HOA fee. Residents may upgrade their programming package and/or subscribe to premium channels or sports packages at their own cost. If owners choose to activate any of the DirecTV Genie Wireless Mini Receivers to access programming on additional TVs in the condo, DirecTV will bill the condo owner $8.00 per month for each activated Mini Receiver.
A current Programming Channel Guide can be found HERE.
Centurylink (under LUMEN) is the exclusive provider for high-speed Internet. The HOA provides a modem and Internet service at 200 Mbps as part of your monthly HOA fee.
Each resident household must set up an individual billing account with Centurylink regardless of whether you are upgrading to a speed package above the basic service provided by the HOA. To set up your account, go to centurylink.com and click on the Get Internet button. You will be taken to a Centurylink page that will ask your address to set up a billing account. You will then be asked to choose a service level.
Note that the page defaults to a 955MBPS service at $35 per month. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY WANT THAT. Use the arrow on the right to scroll to the basic plan of 200 MBPS, which is what the HOA provides free to you and select it. The screen will ask you a couple more questions and will set up your account. You will then receive an email with a link that you must use to activate the account. Once you’ve activated the account, you will receive another email telling you the account is active and your internet should be active.
You will find the network name and password on the modem.
If you have any problems with the internet, please call Centurylink Technical Support at 855-234-5733 and go to choice #3, Technical Support. This is the number for the “connected community” a contracted community with Centurylink. They will walk you through basic troubleshooting, then schedule a tech visit. There should NOT be a charge for this service.
If you are interested in upgrading to a higher speed, you will pay the price differential shown below. Upgrading the speed can be done online through your Centurylink account. Options for faster speeds available to residents to purchase individually are as follows:
The DirecTV and Internet equipment, including cables and power cords, is the property of the HOA. The equipment is provided at no charge and will be replaced, if it fails, at no cost. THE EQUIPMENT SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE ASSIGNED UNIT. If you sell your unit, the equipment stays in place and transfers with the unit to the new owner. If you rent your unit, it is your responsibility to insure that your tenant and/or property manager understand that the equipment remains in place, should your tenant move out.
Any DirecTV or Internet equipment that is missing or damaged should be reported immediately to Julie Grommes at Ogden & Company at 480-396-4567 or [email protected]. Julie will arrange for our provider to contact the Unit Owner to coordinate replacement of the equipment and will bill the full current retail cost to the owner of record at the time it went missing or was damaged. The full equipment price also applies to lost power cords, as the entire piece of equipment must be replaced.
