There are times that the TV or the Internet may go on the fritz. It may be because of rain or winds, or it may be due to extended period of being idle. Sometimes there is no obvious or explainable reason, they are just hosed up!
Before making that dreaded call to Tech Support, try resetting the devices. Unplugging the equipment is a hard-shutdown which will clear the equipment of all the junk build-up and many times resolve the issue.
